Keep it Legal

This is a big one that I see over and over again. So many vendors are trying to find a way to cheat the system. Keep more money in their pockets and less in the governments. That is why you have a good CPA. As far as the market and your business goes in my opinion it is always to easier to keep things legal from the beginning rather than going back and trying to make things legal later.

What do I mean by this. Get whatever licensing is required for your business. Pay your sales tax and pay it on time, invest in a credit card processing service you will sell more as a new vendor, pay for the business accounts of money apps rather than trying to avoid fees and run in through your personal account, pay sales tax on cash sales and though not about keeping it legal but always have a separate business bank account. My goal is to spend my time building my business not trying to cheat the system because I velieve that is time well spent. Until next time, start small, think big and bring your best to the booth.
